These Terms govern your use of our Website and your purchase of products directly from us. Not Just Salt BV is a company registered in Belgium, with its registered office at Plantin en Moretuslei 155A, 2140 Borgerhout, and a second facility at Prins Boudewijnlaan 91, 2610 Antwerpen. Our products are intended for direct-to-consumer sales and personal use only. Resale of our products without our prior written permission is prohibited.

1. Eligibility

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during any purchase or account registration process. By placing an order, you confirm that you are legally able to enter into a binding contract.

1. Orders and payment

All orders are subject to acceptance by us. We reserve the right to cancel or refuse any order at our reasonable discretion, for example in the event of a pricing error, suspected fraud, or unavailability of a product.

Prices are listed on our Website and may change from time to time, but the price that applies to your order is the price shown at the moment you place it; price changes do not affect orders already placed. Prices include applicable VAT unless stated otherwise. Any shipping fees are displayed at checkout before you complete your purchase. Payment must be made in full at the time of purchase. We accept Bancontact, credit card, PayPal, Klarna, and Shop Pay.

Once your purchase is complete, you will receive an order confirmation by email. This email confirms our acceptance of your order.

If you opt for a subscription-based purchase, you agree to the recurring charges as specified at the time of purchase. You can cancel or modify your subscription at any time through your account settings; cancellation takes effect before your next scheduled delivery, provided it is made before that order is processed. Any deliveries already processed before cancellation will still be charged and fulfilled.

1. Shipping and delivery

We ship worldwide. Estimated delivery times are shown at checkout and may vary depending on the destination and on factors outside our control. For deliveries outside the European Union, any customs duties, import taxes, or charges are the responsibility of the recipient.

If your order is delayed or lost, please contact us at info@itsnotjustsalt.com and we will do our best to help. We are not responsible for delivery failures caused by incorrect or incomplete shipping information provided by you. Risk of loss passes to you upon delivery of the products to the shipping address you provided.

1. Right of withdrawal, returns and refunds

If you are a consumer in the European Union, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving the products, without giving any reason, in accordance with applicable consumer law. To exercise this right, contact us at info@itsnotjustsalt.com before the 14-day period expires. You may use the model withdrawal form, but this is not obligatory; a clear statement of your decision to withdraw is sufficient.

Please note an important exception that applies to our products. Because our products are foodstuffs supplied in sealed packaging that cannot be returned for reasons of health or hygiene once unsealed, the right of withdrawal does not apply to products that have been opened or unsealed after delivery. Unopened products in their original, sealed packaging can be returned within the 14-day period.

The direct cost of returning the products is borne by you, unless the return is due to an error on our part (for example, a wrong or defective product), in which case we will cover the return costs. Once we have received and inspected the returned products, we will refund the amount due to your original payment method within 14 days. The original standard shipping cost will be refunded for valid withdrawals, except for any extra cost arising from a delivery method you chose that is more expensive than our standard option.

Nothing in this section affects your statutory rights as a consumer, including your rights in respect of products that are defective or not as described.

1. Use of the Website

You agree not to misuse our Website, including by introducing viruses or malicious code, hacking, or attempting to gain unauthorised access to our systems or data.

Our electrolyte drinks and mixes are foodstuffs intended for personal use and are not a substitute for medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. If you are pregnant, nursing, taking medication, or have any medical condition, we recommend consulting your healthcare provider before using our products.

We strive to provide accurate product descriptions and information, but we do not guarantee that all content is entirely free from errors. Please read the ingredient and allergen information on the product label carefully before consuming, particularly if you have an allergy or intolerance. While we provide allergen information in accordance with applicable law, you are responsible for checking the label for ingredients that may affect you.

1. Intellectual property

All content on the Website, including text, graphics, logos, and product images, is owned by or licensed to Not Just Salt BV and is protected under applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any content on our Website without our prior written consent.

1. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Not Just Salt BV is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our Website or products. Our total liability for any claim related to a purchase shall not exceed the amount you paid for the product concerned. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any rights you have as a consumer that cannot be excluded under Belgian law.

You agree to indemnify and hold Not Just Salt BV harmless from any third-party claims, liabilities, damages, or reasonable expenses arising from your misuse of our Website or your breach of these Terms. This does not apply to claims arising from our own negligence or breach, and does not affect your statutory consumer rights.

1. Governing law and dispute resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of Belgium, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your purchase that cannot be resolved amicably may be brought before the competent courts of the judicial district of Antwerp, Belgium.

If you are a consumer, you also have the right to use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform, available at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr, to seek an out-of-court resolution. You may also contact the Belgian Consumer Mediation Service (Consumentenombudsdienst / Service de Médiation pour le Consommateur) for assistance.
